Sister Peace organizes around people, and while she may propose events and the signing of agreements, her thrust is to keep alive a longer-term process that spins out over generations. We find, therefore, that if Peace is a person, she may well be a grandmother who looks back across numerous generations and forward to those that come. In a seminar exercise I conduct, where we stage a discussion between these four people -- Truth, Mercy, Justice and Peace -- Grandma Peace, more often than not, extends her arms around the other three and says, "We need all of you to be a family."
