Champion's League final

Liverpool triumph. Posted by Hello

Yeah, so I didn't post yesterday. Instead I watched the Champion's League final of AC Milan vs. Liverpool. What a game. If you're a soccer fan and missed it, well, I hope you're able to forgive yourself. It was even more thrilling than Manchester United's injury-time win over Bayern Munich in 1999. Down 3-0 at the half the game was on the verge of becoming a rout. But then Didi Hamann came in for Steve Finnan, Steven Gerrard decided to show up and suddenly 15 minutes after kick-off the game was all level. Incredible. Then in the dying minutes Jerzy Dudek pulled off one of the most amazing double-saves from point-blank range that I have ever seen. Finally, in penalties, he saved the final shot from European player of the year Andriy Shevchenko and suddenly it was all over. I still can't believe it.
