Maximum City

Started reading Maximum City over the weekend. Very interesting book but I can't say it is a very good advertisement for India. Definitely doesn't sound like anyplace I want to visit anytime soon with corruption, street crime, rampant air pollution and a lack of clean water major deterrents. I suspect that like China, India has many many issues to be resolved before we can truly talk about it being a major economic rival to the U.S.
