One of my favorite groups of protesters were the mud people. I don't actually know what they called themselves, but they ran around holding up cardboard cutouts that somewhat resembled the statues on Easter Island that were painted brown. They had no signs and no obvious agenda. This was their ring-leader, who had a headdress that looked like dreadlocks made out of grass and a cloth skirt.
