Whenever the federal deficit is discussed liberals always want to lay blame at the feet of tax cuts. Pete du Pont, however, points out the following:

President Bush's income tax cuts gave us in the fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30 the largest revenue increase in the history of the United States--a $262 billion, 14% increase.

It's the spending, stupid.
