A Fort Washington man was found fatally wounded Saturday night in Northeast Washington, and D.C. police had no suspects or motive yesterday.
An officer on patrol about 9:50 p.m. spotted a man lying in the 2400 block of 17th Street NE, Sgt. Joe Gentile said. The man was Momar Jackson, 32, of the 7200 block of Jaywick Avenue, and he had been shot multiple times in the body and head, Gentile said.

Shooting
The quagmire deepens:
You know, when a soldier is killed in Iraq the media usually points out that he/she was the 2,XXXth soldier to die there since the conflict began. No mention in this article, however, what the running tally is for D.C. (although I think I saw the other week we were closing in on 200 for the year). In any case I think it's obvious that we need a timetable for withdrawal.
