Cuba

Over the weekend I was talking to someone I know who received their master's degree in International Development at the University of Amsterdam. She said that some of her fellow students took a vacation to Cuba and came back totally amazed that their socialist model didn't work. She was serious.

I asked if these students had ever bothered cracking a history book or paid a visit to Eastern Europe. Apparently not.
