It took over 200 years for the U.S. to reach federal spending of $1.3 trillion. It will take only 20 years for spending to zoom up another $1.9 trillion to $3.2 trillion. When you're projected to pull in $3 trillion and still run a deficit you've got a problem, and it has nothing to do with revenue.
