Passing

Noteworthy.

This was also observed by the liberal Nelson Report (not my opinion, author Chris Nelson freely admits to being a liberal Democrat):
NAMES...some sad news...John Carbaugh died on Sunday, at a hospital in Cleveland, after returning from Japan. He was 60, and for many years after leaving the Senate staff of Jesse Helms, he ran a successful consulting operation focusing on Japan, Korea, India and Taiwan. We didn’t hardly agree on anything beyond good wine and Paul Wolfowitz...except that playing the foreign policy game is about as much fun as anything legal could be. His word was gold. He took care of his friends. He had serious enemies. And he was in on the joke. Thanks, pal, for everything. You are missed already...
Brilliant guy.
