Via the superb Club for Growth blog, which is a daily read, I came across the book Wikinomics. I stopped by Barnes and Noble to buy it today (passing by George Will on the street), but will be returning it tomorrow. Not because it isn't good -- I haven't even begun reading it yet -- but because of the outrageous price -- over $27 with tax. Amazon has it for $15.57 and Barnes and Noble's own website lists it for $18.16 (while members, who pay $25 for the privilege, get it at $16.34).
And with amazon it's tax free -- thank goodness for the interweb. It's enough to make you wonder how such stores are able to survive.
