Sullivan hearts Obama

It's almost laughable how in the tank Andrew Sullivan is for Obama. Witness this exchange at the recent Saddleback forum:

Question: Who are the three wisest people you know in your life who are you going to rely on heavily in your administration?

Obama: ...You mentioned one person I'd be listening to and that's Michelle, my wife, who is not only wise but she's honest...another person in that category is my grandmother.

This, it seems to me, is either charmingly silly or a typical politician's answer that evokes mom and apple pie. Andrew Sullivan's take:

8.10 pm. The first two people Obama spoke of as advisers were women.

That, my friends, is the very definition of spin.
