David Brooks, who easily ranks as my favorite columnist at the New York Times, comes out pretty hard in favor of John McCain. It's an interesting read and something to consider as the election comes down to its final weeks.

Thanks for the link to the article. John McCain is a true American hero. In my opinion he deserves to be president.
It is too bad the american people are "taken in" by the political campaigns and not by the history of the person running for office.
I don't like Obama's point of view on a whole host of issues, but I also don't think he is a bad person.
McCain has proven himself on a world stage more than once. When has Obama even come close?
