Palin and Experience

The best argument against the selection of Sarah Palin comes not from anyone on the left, but conservative David Brooks. Of course, one can't help but read this and wonder how much of it applies to Obama.

I'm wondering when in the past we have ever insisted on such qualifications for Vice President? The qualification for Vice President has typically been to get votes, and Palin does this extraordinarily well.
