A letter to Obama from a business owner that is well worth reading. (via Carpe Diem)
Remeber, Obama is the guy that seems to view businesses as a conduit for social policy, stating in a recent speech that government needs to ensure that "businesses live up to their responsibility to create American jobs."
No, they have a responsibility to turn a profit, that's about it.

Greed is good? Not always, I do think companies founded and run based upon greed solely result in unethical behavior (i.e., the recent Wall Street meltdown). There is something to be said for companies that create goods/services people actually need (and want) and by doing so create jobs. Create more for more, not more for less.
