A Cuban's Story

Steven Goff, the soccer reporter for the Washington Post interviews a recent defector from the Cuban national soccer team:

I asked him what, during his travels around America, has left the most lasting impression -- a type of food, tall buildings, the Rocky Mountains, movies, etc. He smiled and offered one word: "Freedom."

Something to keep in mind during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. We don't know how good we've got it.
