Realclearmarkets does their ranking of the best and worst states in the country to find a job.
The best:
Wyoming
Texas
Louisiana
Utah
Nebraska
The worst:
Rhode Island
California
Florida
Michigan
Vermont
Notice any similarities? The worst states, with the exception of Florida (which is more purple), are all Democratic/blue states while the best are all Republican/red states. So, who knows, maybe Democrats have really bad economic policy in the states and are great on the federal level, but I have my doubts.
