Last October Daniel Gross, a business and finance columnist for Slate, wrote a piece that I found so unbelievably poor that I wrote him an email pointing out its obvious flaws. I haven't read him since but then I noticed the Cato Institute taking him to task for a dreadful column he wrote earlier this month and this afternoon Greg Mankiw responded to Gross's most recent piece.
It amazes me that some of these guys manage to earn a paycheck writing such drivel.
