Gregg withdraws

Sen. Judd Gregg has withdrawn his name from consideration as Commerce Secretary. This is good because I have generally liked Gregg's presence in the Senate and wondered what the hell he was thinking taking a position with an administration he would be ideologically at odds with. As for Obama, this is the fourth nominee by my tally that has been forced to withdraw their name from consideration, with the others being Daschle, Killefer and Richardson.

It's almost as though this guy has never been in charge of anything before...
