The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that...just 39% [of Democrats] say capitalism is better while 30% prefer socialism.
Now, recently Rep. Spencer Bachus received some attention for his declaration that there are 17 socialists in the House of Representatives. Assuming the poll is accurate and that Democrats in Congress reflect the sentiment of the party faithful then Bachus was way understating matters, as that would mean there should be around 76 socialists in the House.
Cynics might even find that number low.
