Bjørn Lomborg:

If the Kyoto agreement were fully obeyed through 2099, it would cut temperatures by only 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Each dollar would do only about 30 cents worth of good.

Lomborg goes on to advocate increased government expenditures on alternative energies, which I oppose. If carbon truly is found to be a serious pollutant then it would seem the better approach is to increase or impose taxes on sources of carbon while cutting taxes elsewhere.
