The nanny state

With a nod to Martin Niemöller:

First they came for the cigarette smokers, and I did not speak out -- Because I did not smoke cigarettes.

Then they came for those who eat greasy food, and I did not speak out -- Because I don't dine on fast food.

Then they came for the soda drinkers, and I did not speak out -- Because I did not drink soda.

Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.
