Message board

The other day I walked over to a messageboard that has been set up at a busy intersection in my neighborhood. It invited people to comment on the health care debate and what actions they would like to see from President Obama.

Heh.

One I actually agree with.

Much of what was scrawled was irrelevant, nonsensical or obscene (a couple postings had pictures of human anatomy along with invitations for President Obama to perform certain actions on said anatomy). Some had fallen off and littered the ground. I didn't spot any extra push pins for me to post my own thoughts.

But given that use of the public message board was free and there was a lack of accountability, what else could be really expected? Which is why I don't support government-run health care.

Update: Similar results from a government-run bike-sharing program.
