I, for one, welcome our new clean energy overlords.

• Hope and change: The federal government is already $292 billion in the hole for the first two months of the new fiscal year. That's an even worse rate than last year.

• The Obama Administration expects to lose about $30 billion on the auto bailout -- about $100 from every U.S. citizen. But I'm sure the expanded small business lending proposed by the administration will be completely different.

• Matt Welch examines President Obama's claim that the country which leads in clean energy will also lead the world. Looks like we should all start brushing up on either German, Norwegian or Danish.
