Stimulus money: thanks but no thanks.

  • Dan Mitchell highlights a city which actually turned down stimulus package funds because both the administrative costs as well as payoffs to unions (Davis-Bacon, buy American provisions) make it cheaper to simply build infrastructure themselves.
