  • Dan Mitchell highlights a new study which shows that the most recent hike in the minimum wage has cost jobs. Then again, supporters of the minimum wage tend to also be the same people who think that taxing foreign tourists will make the U.S. a more attractive place to visit.
  • Stephen Dubner points out some unintended consequences of foreign aid in Haiti. While Haiti is an emergency situation, this kind of thing isn't exactly unknown elsewhere either.
  • Health care: Michael Cannon claims that killing health savings accounts is part of the political left's gameplan while Thomas Sowell points out the costs generated by regulation.
