Stossel: Prohibition

Another solid show -- I wish this program could be viewed by every high school student in the country (actually, with youtube I guess it can be). Here are parts two, three, four, five and six. While arguments over the legalization of drugs and prostitution are probably familiar to many people, the topic of organ sales -- shown in clip four -- is perhaps less so. You can learn more by clicking here for a quick overview. Something I learned from Stossel, but was not at all surprised by, is that Rep. Al Gore was behind efforts to criminalize organ sales, a move which has undoubtedly results in thousands of deaths which could otherwise be avoided.
