As long as third payers play such a massive role in US health care it should be no surprise that health care costs continue to increase, as there is very little incentive for cost control when someone else is footing the bill. Rather than breaking from this model Obamacare seeks to further cement the central role of insurance in our health care system. How can this possibly end well?
