• The Wall Street Journal reports that a number of Congressional staffers are making out pretty well in the stock market. I seem to recall US Senators being particularly savvy players in the market too.

• Americans don't seem too keen on farm work.

• Here is an interesting look at Federalist 62, uncertainty and the economy. It's a reminder of both the intelligence and perspicacity of the founding fathers and that many of the problems we currently face aren't new.
