Recommended reading

  • High speed rail in China seems to be running into all sorts of problems. But I'm sure it will be a completely different story here.
  • Mark Perry argues that Wal-Mart deserves this year's Nobel Peace Prize. It might restore some much needed luster to the award. 
  • Sallie James notes an instance of Barney Frank being correct and House Republicans being in the wrong.
