Recommended reading

  • High-speed rail in a nutshell: "We’re borrowing late 21st-century money to build late 20th-century technology to benefit early 21st-century politicians."
  • An interesting health care story. Last paragraph: "The first step is realizing that our current medical culture doesn’t foster innovation and creativity. In fact, at almost every level, it actively and legally stifles innovation."
  • For all of the unnecessary red tape we have in this country, at least we're not Brazil.
