Recommended reading

  • The Club for Growth has released their 2010 rankings of House and Senate members based on their votes on economic issues. The highest ranking Democrat in the House, the now ex-Rep. Bobby Bright, clocks in at #171 while in the Senate Ben Nelson registers at #41 with a 50% rating. If one considers a rating of 40-60% as moderate, Nelson is the only moderate Democrat in the Senate while only nine Democrats (most of which were defeated in 2010) qualify in the House.
  • A look at Medicare's basic math problem. $100K per person in revenue and $300K in expenses is no way to run an operation.
