Amidst non-existent job growth it's useful to recall that government spending is currently on the same level as during World War II.  Along with the green job obsession, it is becoming clearer by the day that the use of government spending to boost growth is economic quackery. That the left persists in advocating such policies despite the lack of any evidence they actually work suggests intellectual bankruptcy.
