  • Charles Lane says that the "crumbling infrastructure" meme is overhyped.
  • Writing at Ezra Klein's blog, Brad Plumer concedes that Cash for Clunkers was "a pretty lousy bargain as far as carbon policy goes" and that it's "hard to argue that it was an efficient way to dole out cash." Even the left is catching on.
  • Good point: the 99 percent of protesters are actually part of the top 5 percent. So who did they oppress to get there?
