I was amazed to discover today that there's a guy running for City Council who has the temerity to say that DC should lower taxes and cut the government workforce. Too bad I can't vote for him since I don't live in Ward 3. Probably doesn't matter -- with rhetoric like that he doesn't stand a chance in this town.
