Hunting

What the hell is wrong with people? I'm not anti-hunting by any means, but shooting a giraffe? How pathetic do you have to be to get pleasure out of that? Somehow I don't think the danger level is nearly as great as, say, shooting a wild boar. I can see three main justifications for killing an animal: it's a pest, it's overpopulated or it's tasty (cats, for example, would be a two-fer). Somehow I don't think giraffes fit the bill.

Update: According to one reader in the comments section I am wrong and giraffe is actually quite delicious. Perhaps I should expand my culinary options.
