McDonald's

Well this is bizarre: McDonald's has different websites for the different ethnic groups in the U.S. that frequent its restaurants. One for blacks, one for Asians and one for Hispanics. From a quick scan they all seem to rely on stereotypes with the black one making use of Afrocentric themes, the Asian one showing a tech-heavy bedroom that includes a laptop, a flat-panel TV, video game system and synthesizer while the Hispanic one has a picture of a heart that includes a Mexican wrestler and soccer ball on it.

No word on when the Native American one is due to come out.

The balkanization of the U.S. continues...
