By my count -- and I might be off here -- there have been three congressional elections in December -- two special elections in Louisiana and one in Georgia. Republicans have won all of them. I doubt that much can be read into that except for one thing: Obama's name wasn't on any of the ballots. Add him and I bet that Republicans lose two (both Louisiana) out of the three. Something to consider for 2010.
