Particularly note the 3rd column, which severely undermines -- if not destroys -- the argument that the rich pay insufficient taxes or somehow benefit from a tax code skewed in their favor.

Spending:

The run-up in spending since the FDR administration is absolutely stunning. Even the roughly 10 point increase in just the last 30 years is massive.
